CLUBS & ACTIVITIES
Resource
At Bryden Elementary, we believe a well-rounded education goes beyond the classroom. Our array of extracurricular activities offers many opportunities for students to discover new interests, hone their talents, and build lasting friendships.
Book Club
Open to second grade students, our Book Club gathers regularly after school to discuss a selected book and engage in related activities or crafts.
Bryden Choir
The Bryden Choir welcomes all first and second graders with a passion for singing. The choir introduces students to diverse music genres and vocal techniques and showcases their talents at various events. First graders have separate rehearsals from second graders, and both grades come together for performances.
Destination Imagination
Part of a global STEAM initiative, teams of 2-7 students tackle unique Team Challenges, fostering creativity and skill development across categories like Technical, Fine Arts, and Engineering. Destination Imagination is open to Beachwood students in kindergarten through high school. Meeting schedules are team-specific.
Lego Club
Exclusively for second graders, the Lego Club allows for both free building and creative challenges. Please enroll in only one session per year to ensure opportunities for all.
Outward Boundless
An adventurous outdoor program for first graders, Outward Boundless offers nature experiences at Bryden Elementary. This program includes several sessions annually and is capped at a certain number of students. It is an all-weather, outdoor adventure.
Student Leadership Council
Designed for second graders, the Student Leadership Council nurtures leadership skills and community involvement. Meetings are held regularly, with a focus on topics such as leadership, philanthropy, and event planning.
